RSF categorically affirms to all Sudanese citizens, particularly those in areas under our protection

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) categorically affirms to all Sudanese citizens, particularly those in areas under our protection, that the national currency remains fully valid for all transactions, and we unequivocally reject any attempts to undermine its legitimacy. We will not recognize or permit the circulation of any new currency issued by the so-called "Port Sudan gang," comprising the co-opted leadership of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and their minders from the terrorist Islamic Movement. We will take every necessary step to ensure their actions are thwarted.

Our firm opposition to illegal currency schemes is part of a broader strategy to safeguard Sudan from those who seek to destabilize and fragment our beloved country. The RSF will continue to expose the nefarious actions of the extremist Islamic Movement, which, in collaboration with hostile foreign elements, is actively plotting to dismantle Sudan. Since the onset of their misguided efforts to replace our national currency, confusion has spread nationwide, with Sudanese citizens voicing their strong opposition in the face of this illegal action.

Numerous banks have unlawfully withheld citizens' deposits under the pretext of a “lack of liquidity," compelling individuals to transfer funds into accounts, with withdrawals delayed indefinitely. This is not only a gross violation of internationally recognized financial regulations, but also a direct attempt to seize the hard-earned money of Sudanese citizens. The ultimate goal of the SAF and its patrons from the former regime in deploying this conspiracy is to finance the ongoing war and enrich the corrupt members of the Port Sudan gang.

The RSF stands resolute against this conspiracy. The actions of this coup regime are nothing but empty political gestures — devoid of any legal or moral substance. We will not allow anyone to rob Sudanese citizens of their rightful property or exploit our country's vulnerabilities to deepen their suffering. The RSF is fully committed to upholding the rights and interests of the people, ensuring full adherence to national and international law.

Our commitment to freedom, democracy, and rule of law is unwavering. We vow to will liberate Sudan once and for all from the clutches of those who seek to manipulate, divide, and destroy our nation. We will not rest until Sudan is free from the forces of division and exploitation that seek to destabilize our country. With steadfast determination, we will continue our mission to restore peace, stability, and justice to the people of Sudan.
