Today, Thursday, the heroes of Sudan Founding Alliance Forces (Tasis) achieved another significant victory, inflicting a crushing defeat on the terrorist Islamic Movement militia in the strategic area of Bakouri, in the New Fung Region, and pursuing its fleeing remnants to areas east of Damazin.

This decisive victory comes as part of the carefully planned military operations being conducted by our forces aiming to expand the scope of their operational manoeuvres, paving the way for an advance towards the enemy’s strongholds and the positions of its terrorist militias.

Today, the heroes of Founding Forces dealt a crushing blow to the army of the terrorist Islamic Movement and its mercenaries, inflicting heavy losses on the enemy. Our forces also seized a number of vehicles, along with quantities of weapons and military equipment, which are currently being inventoried and documented. Dozens of mercenaries serving with the terrorist army fled in the face of the powerful strikes delivered by our heroic forces, who continue to pursue the defeated remnants.

The Founding Forces reiterate their call on members of the Islamic Movement militias to surrender to our forces deployed across the New Fung Region. They also assure the Sudanese people, who have endured the devastating consequences of the war ignited by the Islamic Movement, that our forces have entered an advanced phase of decisive battles against the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood army. Our forces are advancing steadily and resolutely towards completing the liberation of the homeland and laying the foundations for a new and just Sudan.
