The RSF establishes full control over the strategic area of Umm Kadada in North Darfur

MEDIA STATEMENT

Earlier this Thursday, the Rapid Support Forces -RSF- attained another milestone victory in a new  front. Our forces achieved a major victory today by liberating the HQ of the 24th Brigade (Um Kadada) of the Sixth Division in North Darfur State . The courageous RSF soldiers liberated the area from the grip of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and their allied mercenary movements. Our forces have also established full control over the strategic locality of Um Kadada.

Our heroes fought a decisive battle in which they demonstrated rare courage and unmatched valor. Their efforts culminated in the complete liberation of the strategic city of Um Kadada and the seizure of fully equipped combat vehicles, various weapons and ammunition that had been in the enemy's possession.

The battle resulted in the deaths of hundreds of the enemy combatants. The remaining  defeated forces had fled the battlefield with our forces continuing to pursue their fleeing remnants.

We affirm that our forces will continue to advance steadily in all fronts until full liberation is achieved, the remnants of the former regime are overthrown, the 'Port Sudan gang' is dismantled, justice is restored and Sudan is rebuilt on new and equitable foundations.
