RSF liberates the strategic areas of Mazbad, Aruri and Kamo in North Darfur

MEDIA STATEMENT

Yesterday, Thursday, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) achieved a new victory by liberating the strategic areas of Mazbad, Aruri and Kamo in North Darfur, following decisive battles against the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) that operates under the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood militias and their mercenary allies.

The heroes of the Rapid Support Forces demonstrated exceptional valour and courage, forcing remnants of the Muslim Brotherhood’s army and allied mercenary groups to flee after inflicting heavy losses in both personnel and equipment. Our forces also seized fully equipped combat vehicles and large quantities of weapons and ammunition, which are currently being inventoried.

The heroes of the RSF will continue their advance towards the remaining strongholds of the Muslim Brotherhood in the region and across Sudan, with the aim of liberating the people from the grip of terrorism.

We urge all members of our forces to fully adhere to directives on maintaining security, protecting civilians and restoring essential services, including water supplies and healthcare.

We reaffirm our commitment to ensure that this is the last war our people will ever have to endure. We will work together to build a Sudanese state founded on new and just principles that will end oppression and bring about freedom, justice and equality.
