MEDIA STATEMENT
Today, Saturday, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) managed to successfully establish full control over the strategic border town of "Al-Tina" in North Darfur state, and, in turn, effectively liberated the town from the remnants of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood Army and mercenary Armed Movements.
In the same context, our forces continue to implement security plans aimed at establishing security, protecting civilians, and preventing their exploitation or recruitment into the war to serve the interests of the Port Sudan group and the personal ambitions of the so-called "Joint Force" leadership.
Our forces affirm their full commitment to protecting civilians in the border town of "Al-Tina" and surrounding areas, facilitating the delivery of humanitarian aid to those in need, and contributing to the restoration of basic services, particularly water and health, in addition to securing the town along with its vital facilities.
Our forces assure citizens that our true enemy is the Muslim Brotherhood Army and its mercenary Armed Movements, which have consistently exploited innocent people and profited from the bloodshed in these regions, at a time when the people of the region have long suffered from historical injustices, oppression by the former State, and the latter's exclusionary policies.
The Rapid Support Forces call upon all citizens to confront hate speech and racism, reject the efforts of instigators of sedition and the arms of the Muslim Brotherhood, to cooperate with our forces to secure markets as well as public and private facilities, and to eliminate all security threats, thus, ensuring the return of normalcy and stability to the town.
