Official Statement
24 March 2026
The Tasis Alliance Forces (TAF) have secured a series of victories, making significant inroads and advancing across multiple fronts in the Blue Nile/New Fung region. Today, Tuesday, 24 March 2026, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the Sudan People’s Liberation Army–North (SPLA-N) successfully liberated the entire strategic city of Al-Kurmuk, along with the areas of Al-Baraka and Al-Kili, following intense battles yesterday against the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), which operate under the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood, and their allied armed mercenary militias.
In these battles, enemy forces suffered substantial losses, with more than 400 killed and dozens wounded or captured, including senior officers. Our forces succeeded in seizing large quantities of military equipment and supplies, including 47 fully equipped combat vehicles, three tanks, and significant stockpiles of various weapons and artillery, currently under inventory. In addition, more than 60 combat vehicles and five tanks were destroyed. The remaining militias of the Muslim Brotherhood army fled towards various destinations, having been dealt a decisive blow by our forces, further adding to their record of battlefield resilience and heroism.
Our forces have also deployed military outposts around the city and across other liberated areas, reinforcing our deployment, securing vital locations, and ensuring the protection of civilians, while continuing to advance toward new objectives.
The Alliance Forces continue their steady advance from multiple axes toward the final strongholds of terrorism, affirming that the moment of decisive victory over the forces of tyranny and oppression is approaching, heralding the dawn of a new Sudan, built through the participation of all Sudanese people on the foundations of freedom, justice, and peace.
The struggle continues, and victory is certain.
