The RSF liberates Al-Khowei strategic locality in west Kordofan

MEDIA STATEMENT 

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continued their heroic campaign with another decisive victory on Friday evening, as they successfully liberated the city of Al-Khowei in West Kordofan State, just one day after liberating the city of Al-Nuhoud. The courageous RSF soldiers successfully established full control over the locality of Al-Khowei.

The RSF delivered an eloquent lesson in bravery and valor, compelling the remnants of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) terror to flee after suffering heavy losses in personnel and equipment. Our forces also seized large quantities of weapons and ammunition.

With the same discipline, our forces have remained committed to protecting civilians and safeguarding both public and private property. They call on all citizens in the liberated areas to feel fully reassured and to coordinate with the forces to reopen markets and water sources to achieve stability.

We affirm that the liberation battles will continue with unrelenting determination until the entire territory of the homeland is freed from the grip of the terrorist Islamic movement, a new Sudan is established on the values of freedom, peace, and justice, and the system of terrorism and corruption is permanently defeated.
