The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) denounce the explicit bias displayed by Al-Hadath Channel in its video report, in which the channel’s correspondent and technical crew appeared alongside the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) that operates under the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood in the false pretext of so-called “security operations” in the Kordofan region. This constitutes blatant propaganda aimed at fabricating imaginary victories and promoting fleeting movements that bear no resemblance to the reality on the ground.

Such media conduct constitutes a serious violation of the most fundamental principles of journalistic professionalism, which demand adherence to objectivity, balance, and accuracy. not promoting a one-sided narrative and effectively aligning itself with one party to the conflict, this effectively transforms its platform into a propaganda tool serving political and military agendas at the expense of the truth and the public’s right to be informed.

Our forces regret that Al-Hadath Channel has diverted from its presumed professional role and engaged in misleading rhetoric that contributes to distorting public awareness and concealing violations and crimes committed against innocent civilians in Kordofan, Darfur, and other regions.

We call on regional and international media institutions to strictly adhere to journalistic ethics, and we urge the channel’s management to review its editorial policies and assume its full professional and ethical responsibilities toward the public.

Our forces will continue to confront media disinformation campaigns, expose attempts to whitewash extremist groups, and defend citizens’ right to independent, professional media that reflects the truth with balance, as it is on the ground.
