FVP Discusses with ICRC the Humanitarian Situation in Sudan

First Vice President (FVP) of the Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo discussed  today (Wednesday) with the Deputy President of the ICRC,  Gilles Carbonnier, the humanitarian situation in Sudan and providing the medical, agricultural, food, and the essential requirements.
Carbonnier said in press statement after the meeting that he discussed with the FVP the humanitarian situation in Sudan, affirming the ICRC commitment to continue its support and assistance to Sudan especially in the remote areas through providing the medical assistance and agricultural and food assistance.
Carbonnier affirmed that the ICRC will support Sudan through providing the essential requirements, expressing appreciation for allowing them spread its humanitarian activities in Sudan, a matter which will encourage the ICRC to increase is activities to the Sudanese people next year.
