Daglo Participates in JEM Ceremony on the Occasion of Peace Agreement Signature

First Vice President of the Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo has participated in the ceremony organized by Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) – Juba Office – on the occasion of signing the peace agreement.
The ceremony was also participated by the Security Advisor of South Sudan President, Tut Galwak, member of the Sovereign Council, Mohamed Hassan Al-Taayshi and number of the  leading figures in the peace agreement  signatory organizations.
First Vice President of the Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo said, while addressing the ceremony yesterday (Monday), that the peace agreement addressed all the issues of Sudan with the participation of specialists from the concerned ministries, stressing on the necessity of reviewing the development projects to  pave the way for starting balanced development.
Daglo emphasized the importance of imposing the prestige of the state, adding that democracy doesn’t mean chaos.
“Let us together build this country by supporting each other” Daglo said.
“May Allah the Almighty rest the souls of the martyrs of the regular  and armed struggle forces in eternal peace” He added.
For his part, JEM leader, Dr. Jibril Ibrahim commended the efforts of the Sudanese government delegation, the mediation team, and the armed struggle movements for reaching the peace agreement, affirming that the agreement was achieved due to the existence of strong will amid the parties to the negotiations.
JEM leader added that the delegation of the Sudanese government led by 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo entered into the negotiations with strong desire and honest intention  besides readiness to offer any concessions for the sake of achieving peace, pointing out that the agreement addressed all the issues  of the armed struggle movements, affirming their readiness to implement the peace agreement despite the obstacles and challenges.
