MEDIA STATEMENT

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) denounces the false claims circulated by the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and members of the former regime of military dictator Omar al-Bashir. These claims that the RSF has seized control of the Ahmed Qasim Hospital in Bahri are a complete fabrication.

We have video proof demonstrating that the hospital is operating as normal, without any military involvement.

This is clear evidence of the deceptive tactics used by the Sudanese health and foreign ministries, which are now operating in tandem with the SAF and the former al-Bashir regime.

A message to the misguided SAF leadership and the former al-Bashir regime, who misuse state institutions and resources to support their agenda: Act with integrity.

The RSF remains committed to truth, peace, democracy, and respect for human rights.

We will continue our fight for a prosperous and united Sudan, free from the remnants of the former al-Bashir regime.
