Rapid Support Forces rescues a father and his son in the desert

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Desert Shield Division has managed to rescue a Sudanese man, his son from the desert on the Sudan-Libya border, after their vehicle broke down, they ran out of food and water for “70” days. 
The Safer-Let Military Base Commander, Colonel Osman Ali Abdul-Majeed said that during a routine patrol of the RSF, Abu Baker Abdul-Gadir and his son were found “90” kilometers from the Safer-Let Base, they were evacuated and provided medical and other support.
Abdul-Majeed stated that such humanitarian roles are the core duty of the RSF deployed in the desert, it’s the RSF priority to combat trespassing crimes, illegal migration, human trafficking, as well as securing the crossings of the trade movement between Sudan and Libya.
Meanwhile, the citizen Abu Baker Abdul-Gadir Ahmed said that they moved from Mileet to Libya, their car broke down in the desert for 70 days till they were found by the RSF patrol, they were evacuated to Shafar-Let Base, provided medical care, he expressed his thanks for the RSF for saving their lives, protecting others in the desert.
