Sixteenth Infantry Division commander visits RSF South Darfur Command

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) South Darfur Command has received Sixteenth Infantry Division Commander, General Yasir Fadol Allah and his staff.

The introductory visit was aimed at promoting security and stability in South Darfur.

RSF South Darfur Sector Commander, General Bashier Adam Issa briefed the delegation on the security situation in local areas and places where IDPs are voluntarily returning, as well as the deployment of forces in the area and their contribution to securing the agricultural season.

He stressed that the RSF will continue working to promote peace and rule of law in Sudan.

In turn, Fadol Allah thanked RSF personnel for their successful efforts to advocate for stability and called upon the people of Sudan to follow the path of peace that has been laid by Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, who has invested immense effort in stabilizing the security situation in West Darfur.
