Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo has called on those political stakeholders who did not partake in the recent dialogue session chaired by the tripartite mechanism to play an active role in the process and put Sudan’s interests before their own.
Dagalo wrote on his official Facebook account that the sessions are aimed at reaching a national consensus and successfully continuing the transition period.
The vice president hailed those who have taken part in the sessions, while stressing the need to support the tripartite mechanism as the facilitator of dialogue between all parties.
Dagalo stressed that the only way to achieve a consensus is through dialogue.
In turn, he praised the tripartite mechanism and the efforts of "brotherly nations" to support the Sudanese people.
