Rapid Support Forces, North Darfur witness signing of native reconciliation agreement

Commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) North Darfur Sector, Brigadier Jido Hamdan Abo-Noshouk served witness to the signing of a civilian reconciliation agreement in the Koma Locality.
The signing ceremony was attended by Zayadia Tribe General Chief Abd Allah Adam and a number of other tribal chiefs.
During his address at the closing of the ceremony, Abo-Noshouk highlighted the native administration’s important role in the community in terms of settling tribal disputes, calling on the need for solidarity and renouncing tribalism and regionalism.
Abo-Noshouk also stressed the need to establish a local committee to reduce crime and preserve the social fabric.
Meanwhile, Adam expressed thanks to the RSF for its role in containing tribal conflicts and maintaining peace in society.
