The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) categorically reject the false and deliberately misleading reports circulated by certain newspapers and websites, which falsely allege that some civilians were killed near El-Fasher. These baseless allegations are entirely contradicting the reality and represent nothing more than agitated political fabrications orchestrated by the remnants of the Islamic terrorist movement and the defeated mercenary movements known for distorting facts and deceiving public opinion. Regrettably, some media outlets have chosen to propagate these lies without conducting even the most basic journalistic verification or upholding any standards of professional integrity.
Our forces affirm that all civilians who are residing in the villages surrounding El Fasher, or those who left the city through the designated safe corridors, have been fully secured and protected until they safely reached the areas of their choices such as Tawila, Korma, Shanguili Tubaye, and other safe destinations. Meanwhile, the remaining civilians trapped inside El-Fasher are being forcibly held by mercenary movements, who are using them as human shields, in an explicit war crime.
We alert all media outlets of not becoming platforms for spreading false information and fake news or serving paid political agendas. We call upon them to uphold accuracy, integrity, and objectivity in their reporting. The truth is clear, and no amount of distortion will mislead the public. The RSF remains firmly committed to protect the civilians and will not tolerate any attempts to exploit their lives or tamper with their security.
