The valiant RSF soldiers defeat the SAF and their allied Islamic Movement terrorists, seizing a large amount of war materiel

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) scored a decisive victory on Wednesday against the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and their allied Islamic Movement terrorist militias near the “Abu Qaoud” area, west of Al-Obeid. The fierce battles resulted in the total annihilation of an entire division of the Islamic Movement army and its extremist militias.

Our forces relentlessly pursued the fleeing remnants of the terrorist army to the outskirts of Al-Obeid, inflicting heavy losses of over 220 dead. Thirteen enemy vehicles were destroyed, while more than 90 fully equipped combat vehicles including armored vehicles were captured. In addition, our forces seized large number of various weapons: 23 cannons, 107 rocket launchers, 14.5mm cannons, dual and quadruple cannons, along with huge quantities of ammunition.

The valiant RSF soldiers delivered a powerful lesson in valor and courage, forcing the enemy to flee, abandoning both their equipment and the bodies of their dead on the battlefield.

We assure our people that our forces are advancing with steady confidence as part of the comprehensive liberation battle aimed at eradicating the remnants of armed terrorist organizations and put an end to the Islamic Movement gang’s grip over the Sudanese nation.
