The RSF achieves significant victories over Islamic Movement militia and its mercenaries in Um Samaima, North Kordofan

MEDIA STATEMENT

On Wednesday, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) secured a significant and strategic victory by fully liberating the highly important area of Um Samaima, located west of Al-Obeid in North Kordofan State.

This field achievement marks the good news toward establishing the new government and falls within the framework of our forces accurately executed military plans, aimed at expanding operational reach and advance decisively toward enemy strongholds and the hubs of its terrorist militias.

Today, our forces etched a heroic chapter in history, inflicting a crushing defeat to the enemy and inflicting devastating losses on the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) operating under the Islamic Terrorist Movement and its mercenaries by killing hundreds members of the terrorist movements and battalions, while huge supplies of weapons and military hardware were seized including over one hundred fully equipped combat vehicles (inventory and documentation still underway). Under the relentless attacks of our valiant fighters, dozens of mercenary remnants fled, pursuit relentlessly.

We reaffirm that the Rapid Support Forces have entered an advanced and decisive stage in their battle against the SAF of the Islamic Terrorist Movement, moving forward with firm determination to complete the liberation of the homeland. Our mission is to deliver justice to the long-marginalized masses who have endured decades of oppression and neglect, and to lay the groundwork for a new Sudan built on justice, equity, and enduring stability.
