The RSF advances towards El Obeid and issues an important appeal to the city’s residents.

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continued their decisive march towards achieving their strategic objectives, securing sweeping battlefield victories over the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), which operate under the banner of the Islamic Movement, along with their allied armed mercenary militias. The official announcement of the Peace Government served as an additional motivation for our valiant heroes to engage in heroic battles that embodied the highest ideals of sacrifice and bravery. Our forces advanced from all directions toward the city of Al-Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan, successfully liberating several areas during today's battles. The march continues.

As we extend our congratulations to our heroes on today’s victories, we appeal to the citizens of the city of Al-Obeid and call on them to remain in their homes and not to leave under any circumstances. We affirm that our forces will work diligently to secure the city and ensure full protection for its residents. We also call on the citizens to keep away from the headquarters of the Islamic Movement Army and its affiliated militias, as well as from locations where armed mercenary movements are stationed, to preserve their safety.

As they continue to advance from multiple directions to liberate El Obeid, our forces are demonstrating the highest levels of discipline and responsibility, in full compliance with international humanitarian law and in strict adherence to the directives of their steadfast leadership to protect civilians and uphold their rights.

We reiterate once again to all citizens, civil administrations, and community dignitaries that our battle is not directed against any group or component of the country. Rather, our clear and firm objective is to dismantle the SAF which operates under the Islamic Movement, its terrorist militias, and the mercenary movements that threaten to the security and stability of the country.

Our forces are advancing steadily and relentlessly in the battle for comprehensive liberation, until the last remnants of armed terrorist organizations are eradicated and the Islamic Movement’s grip over the resources and destiny of the Sudanese people is brought to an end, paving the way for the establishment of a new Sudan founded on peace, freedom, and justice.
